Social Media Solution

TL;DR: My Social Media Solution course is only ten bucks, and teaches that you can literally walk away from social media channels you don't like without sacrificing opportunity for you or your business.
If you’re a bootstrapping entrepreneur, freelancer, or small nonprofit, I have a request of you:
Please stop spending time on social media tactics that are not getting you paid.
FOR REALS. STOP IT.
Let me tell you what I see: I see a lot of brilliant, committed, well-intentioned, hard-working folks spending a lot of time trying to reach their goals using someone else’s recipe for success.
The recipe goes like this: You start by consistently posting beautiful, engaging, relevant, powerful content on Instagram, then let your followers engage with it, which increases your audience, which increases your business opportunity, which increases your bottom line.
Only one problem with this: It doesn’t work that way (anymore).
Maybe IF you already had a few thousand followers, maybe IF you already had some successful paid campaigns, maybe IF you are a very polarizing figure, then yeah, maybe it works that way.
Unfortunately for the rest of us, it definitely does NOT work that way, which leaves us feeling:
- Confused that what we are doing seems like it works for others, but doesn’t work for us
- Overwhelmed because social media is just one thing on our very very long to-do lists
- Helpless to increase our revenue and our impact
- Embarrassed that we’re not showing up on social media with the brilliance and purpose that we bring to our work
- Frustrated that social media isn’t working and we don’t know what else to do
- Scared that we are destined to always be in survival mode
And as bad as all those things are, to me the worst part is actually the simplest: If you are spending your time on something that doesn’t work, there is an opportunity cost that prevents you from exploring something else. What if the time you spent on social media got reallocated towards product development? Or towards prospecting new clients or donors? Or what if (gasp) it got you a bit more sleep???
The time (and carefully crafted content) that these platforms steal from folks like us really pisses me off. This is just one more way in which it *sounds* like I’m talking about marketing, but in reality I’m talking about justice.
Believe it or not, when it comes to social media, what we should have, and what we deserve, actually takes less effort than the stupid recipe they’ve convinced us to use.
My Social Media Solution course is just 25 minutes, but by the time you’re done, you’ll have:
- Clarity on how to make the most of social media marketing for your specific audience and your unique offering
- Confidence that time invested will meet the opportunity and serve your audience better than what you’re doing now
- Less work to do and insight on how to make the work you’re still doing more effective
And here’s the thing, I’m so passionate about this approach, so committed to helping purpose-driven organizations, and so serious about my distaste for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, that I’ve reduced the price on this course to $10.
That’s it. Ten bucks and less than half an hour will absolutely change how you think about social media in your work. Go sign up now and reclaim your time.
Expect to learn:
- The ways that social media platforms have evolved to take advantage of businesses like yours
- Why your current approach isn’t working as well as you expected it to
- How to realign your content to make the most of what social media platforms can do for you
- Other reasons why it might make sense for you to walk away and how to do it without sacrificing business opportunity
- How other purpose-driven organizations have implemented this strategy on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
With this and all my other work, my primary goal is to make your organization stronger while also making your life easier. If you have any questions or feedback, please DM on LinkedIn and I’ll support you in any way I can.
Until then, keep up the good work.
